To commemorate a prestigious year in Albano Jerónimo’s career, crowned by the Golden Globe Award for Best Film Actor, Family Affair collaborated with the actor to create a unique, handcrafted pair of bespoke glasses, meticulously designed in the heart of Chiado.

Driven by a continuous pursuit of excellence and support for the arts, our studio developed the Mr. A.J. model. Designed, crafted, and created exclusively for actor Albano Jerónimo, it celebrates a remarkable year in his career, highlighted by his nominations in two categories at the prestigious Golden Globes Gala.
Mr. A.J. is a masterpiece born from exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail. The layering of black and crystal acetates gives the piece a striking sense of depth, while the golden temples, engraved with Family Affair emblems, symbolise the shared values between the actor and the brand: honouring those who help us achieve our personal and professional goals. The custom purple gradient lenses, with a tint ranging from 75% to 10%, pay tribute to both his intense, ambitious role in El Presidente and the madness, danger, and complexity of Restos do Vento, the films that earned him Golden Globe nominations.
Inspired by the iconic frames worn by Robert De Niro in Casino (1995) and Elliott Gould in Ocean’s 11 (2001), designer André Leal blended irreverence and tradition in a piece that will forever commemorate this prestigious moment in Albano Jerónimo’s career.
